Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited program. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy and who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.

Additional Required Qualifications:

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Competency in concurrent capable practice within addiction and mental health. 1-3 years demonstrated formal clinical supervisory experience. Demonstrated skills in leading teams, adult education, and coaching/teaching required. Demonstrated strong analytical, decision making, and critical thinking skills. Excellent computer skills essential, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and support staff using multiple electronic platforms concurrently. Demonstrated ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment, adhere to deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at once. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, staff and management. Commitment to working collaboratively and to building a positive team environment. Solid working knowledge of the continuum of Addiction and Mental Health services available within Alberta Health Services, and the range of community-based services that address the social determinants of health. Advanced skills in assessment and intervention for individuals of all ages with addiction and mental health concerns, including crisis intervention skills. Customer service focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Psychological First Aid (PFA) training preferred. MS Office Suite including Skype for Business. Previous contact centre experience is an asset.
