Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited program. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy and who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated clinical experience and reflective practice. Experience providing progressive leadership within a multi-disciplinary team. Advanced formal education in attachment theory. Knowledge and experience in the application of relationship-based interventions such as Circle of Security, Theraplay, Adult Attachment Interviews, Core. Minimum 5 years’ experience in community mental health and/or an acute child psychiatric setting. Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in strategic planning, operations management, human resource management.
Preferred Qualifications:Sensitivities and Working Model of the Child are an asset. Adult mental health experience an asset. 3-5 years in a supervisory role of multi-discipline mental health professionals. Knowledge of evaluation strategies and outcome research an asset. Ability to function effectively in dynamic situations and remain accountable; experience in organizational change process an asset. Conflict resolution and change management skills an asset.
