Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher. Minimum 5 years’ experience of progressively more responsible roles in health informatics. Experience with electronic medical/health record implementation, migration and/or optimization. Experience in project management, implementing change, and relationship building. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with competing deadlines. Effective and strong organization and problem solving skills. Ability to work with teams of people from diverse scientific and professional backgrounds. Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position is temporarily remote due to COVID-19 but does require weekly onsite presence. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel within Calgary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications related to change management (e.g. PROSCI) or project management (CAPM, PMP). Experience working with Med Access and/or Epic electronic records. Experience preparing information agreements and/or privacy impact assessments (PIAs). Familiarity with Alberta Improvement Way, Institute for Health Improvement, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies. Experience working with Primary Care and understanding of the Patient Medical Home model.
