Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program with a current registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). 5 years’ experience in a nursing role in Acute Care, ER and OR. Basic Life Support (CPR) required. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership skills, comfort with the decision-making process. Organization, prioritization, and time management skills required. Proven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and inspire others. People management skills and the ability to develop cohesive, high-functioning teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of Sterile Supply Technician Theory Program. Conflict resolution and mediation skills are a definite asset.
