Required Qualifications:

Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Cardiology Technology (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Exercise Tolerance/Stress Testing experience within the last 1 year (equivalent to 0.5 or greater), applicants with recent practical experience in an acute care setting as part of the Cardiology Technology program may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiology Technologist in an acute care setting within the last 2 years (equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater), applicants with practical experience in an acute care setting as part of Cardiology Technology program may be considered. Minimum 1 year of experience performing Nuclear Stress Testing. Experience within the last 2 years related to the application and processing of Holter and Event monitors. Familiarly with the following IT systems: MUSE. MARS. GEM.
