Required Qualifications:

1st, 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Psychology or in health/life sciences, or a related field required. 1st or 2nd year diploma program in therapeutic recreation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required. Organized, resourceful and self-starting, with meticulous attention to detail. Comfortable in communicating with seniors and the health care team. Maintains client dignity and confidentiality. Must be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding. Physically able stand, bend, walk, lift and push individuals in a wheel chair for an extended period. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in clinical, health, or patient-focused research preferred.
