Required Qualifications:

Completion of a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must demonstrate technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Good knowledge of medical IT networks and industry safety standards. Must exhibit knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Integrate industry best practices in daily routine work.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong background in medical equipment technology and service. Minimum 2 years of direct related experience preferably with Operating Room and Ventilators experience. Disciplined in organizing and planning the work, set objectives and establish priorities. Critical thinking, problem solving, possess good judgement, and capable of working independently. Positive attitude and good performance record. Long term commitment to live and work Lethbridge.
