Completion of a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
Additional Required Qualifications:On-the-job training is required in addition to education. Exhibit a working knowledge of medical terminology and physiology along with networking and PC based equipment. Demonstrate technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Demonstrate good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; proven organizational skills. Must be reliable, alert, accurate, capable of working independently and, possess good judgment and initiative. Driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the field of Biomedical Engineering Technology is an asset.
