Required Qualifications:

A Masters or Doctorate degree with specialization in Medical Physics. Demonstrated knowledge in Radiation Physics, Radiation Dosimetry, Principles of Imaging, Radiation Protection, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Radiation Biology, Radiation Measurement Techniques and Instrumentation, and Clinical Oncologic Imaging and Radiation Oncology. Able to perform physical demands and environmental conditions such as lifting or carrying items up to 10 pounds / 4.5 kilograms; standing, walking, kneeling, sitting, reaching, bending, crouching, climbing up and down ladders; radioactivity and radiation; strong magnetic fields and radio waves; high voltage equipment; compressed gases and chemicals.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as an effective team member; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with scientific and medical professionals, all members of the multidisciplinary health care team and students; excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to meet competing priorities; highly developed interpersonal skills; adaptability and flexibility; solid teaching and presentation skills. Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral, writing and listening skills, and have strong work ethic and positive attitude; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work well under pressure; strong commitment to the highest clinical standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to graduates of CAMPEP-accredited medical physics graduate education programs.
