Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree, preferably in a health related field, or combination of relevant education and experience. 7 to 10 years of work-related experience. Broad knowledge of Continuing Care health services and specialty services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of the relationship between Alberta Health Services and external stakeholders/partners. Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven experience in managing teams, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring.

As Required.


Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable working with specialty and primary care physicians. Experience in a large and complex environment, specific to Home Care, Supportive living and/or Long Term Care, with a focus on Patient-Centred Care. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with highly complex, dynamic internal and external stakeholders.
