Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or Health Related field. Minimum 2 year previous management experience in a unionized setting. Previous Ambulatory care experience. Current professional registration in good standing. Practical experience in strategy, leadership and management in a high volume academic centre. Excellent interpersonal skills. Leadership skills including demonstrated ability with complex decision making, coaching and mentoring, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to initiate and lead change and to create innovative solutions for complex and diverse situations.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Change management courses/certification (PROSCI). Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners. This position plays a key role in communicating with appropriate internal and external contacts, provincial programs and CCA teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master's in a healthcare field, health administration or business. 5 years of progressive leadership experience with clear pattern of professional and personal development. AIW certification/courses. Leadership certification/courses. Past experience in Oncology.
