Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree or diploma in a relevant healthcare field. 5 years relevant experience in healthcare. Computer skills essential. Familiarity with applicable legislation and professional Standards of Practice. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Must be able to integrate and apply clinical excellence in day to day operations. Demonstrated optimism and enthusiasm about the Respiratory Therapy Department with commitment to continuous quality improvement. Demonstrated managerial competencies that include excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, interpersonal and group management skills, change management, organization and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent and current knowledge in all clinical aspects of service delivery within Respiratory Therapy. Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy. Previous supervisory experience. Completion of courses or certificates in leadership.
