Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in a health related profession required. Registration with professional college required. A minimum of 7-10years in a leadership/supervisory role within AHS. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Exceptional recruitment skills, ability to do rapid selection and hiring of temporary staff. Solid understanding of collective bargaining unit agreements and understanding of NUEE. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master Degree preferred in a health related profession.
