Required Qualifications:

A minimum of baccalaureate Degree plus appropriate licenses and designations. A minimum of five (5) years in a related role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience an asset). A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Effective communicator with strong organizational and influential skills. Patient advocate, supporting a patient and family centered care focus, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources within a complex operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships, achieve organizational goals and manage within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and the ability to foster a climate of cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. public agencies, contracted partners, government, committees, and other partners).


Preferred Qualifications:

Masters level preparation & experience with accreditation processes an asset. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, planning, decision-making and financial management skills. Self-directed and highly motivated. Demonstrated conflict resolution and change management skills. Demonstrated prioritization and workload management skills. Ability to complete qualitative and quantitative analyses of workload, budget and patient services to identify improvement opportunities. Computer literate.
