Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including, but not limited to scheduling, e-mail, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets. Minimum of three years senior level administrative assistant experience is required. Requires excellent verbal and written communication (ability to tactfully communicate individuals at various levels within Alberta Health Services), organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize assigned task, manage competing priorities within defined and often tight timelines in a busy working environment. Must be able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes is preferred including familiarity with policies, financial, human resource information systems as well as contracting, procurement and supply -management processes. Experience in a large office, health care environment is preferred.
