Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Secretarial or Office Administration certificate/diploma is required. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a secretarial administrative position. The incumbent is required to work in a fast paced atmosphere and must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks. Excellent knowledge of computers and various software packages including Microsoft Office applications. Expert knowledge of audiovisual equipment and applications. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Outstanding communication skills are essential as well as an aptitude to provide a positive and friendly approach in dealing with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
Preferred Qualifications:High level administrative position experience preferred. Knowledge of the AHS organizational provincial structure is an asset. WHIMIS, Workplace Health and Safety, and Emergency Response Code Courses are an asset.
