Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent required. Supplemented by post-secondary secretarial courses. 3-5 years medical office experience required. Must be able to attend to detailed tasks with frequent interruptions. Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred. Specific anesthesia knowledge is a definite asset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Keyboarding of 70 WPM desired. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential. Excellent organization and time management skills is essential. Excellent attention to detail is essential.
