Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Therapy, the Administrative Support V provides a high level of professional, well-organized administrative support for the managers, as well as day-to-day operational support for the Occupational Therapy Service and programs assigned to the managers (approximately 120 staff). Working under limited supervision, the assignment is responsible for managing two managers' calendars, preparing material for presentations, drafting memos and reports, and providing support and follow-up for key issues and meetings. Duties also include generating recruitment requisitions, coordination of recruitment files and interviews, tracking performance conversations, professional development and vacation requests, correspondence, transcription, appointment scheduling, minute and report writing, and file management. Works closely with other management, clerical and clinical staff as the first point of contact for the OT Department. Assists with other related administrative and clerical duties. Provides coverage for payroll and for other departments as required.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of five years’ experience in progressively responsible senior administrative positions within a healthcare-based organization is required. Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Must be physically able to sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of computer technology and applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
