Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support V is an advanced position reporting directly to the Site Executive Director (ED), Royal Alexandra Hospital. This position will support the Lead for Site Initiatives, working closely with all levels of leadership and frontline staff at RAH. This position requires extensive knowledge, skill and ability to efficiently navigate the healthcare environment with a high degree of independence. Working with limited supervision, this position requires fully developed, specialized skills to independently and efficiently support all Site Initiatives - liaising for capital projects and equipment procurement with operational programs, as well as operational projects and space moves, and tracking deliverables and action items for all work the Leads, Site Initiatives is responsible for. The incumbent must exercise judgment, discretion and independent decision making across all activities.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in an administrative position required. Completion of an Administrative Professional diploma or equivalent with experience in a health care environment is required along with an advanced knowledge of computer technology.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of AHS administrative systems and procurement processes. Experience in complex calendar management, organization, composing correspondence, preparing reports, and project management is required. Requires excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Must be proactive and able to work through varied and complex issues in a faced paced, high-demand environment. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and interoffice communication systems.
