Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge and high proficiency in working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook – skills test following interview). Minimum of 3 years administrative experience, preferably in a health related environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources. Ability to identify and resolve difficult, escalated issues and concerns. Ability to take initiative and handle a variety of work, with attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage changing priorities and difficult issues in a sensitive, confidential and timely manner. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and decision making skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. Excellent time management skills required. Ability to effectively work with other administrative classifications to appropriately identify and delegate work to increase capacity to meet deadlines and ensure efficiency. Proven ability to function in a complex, changing environment. Excellent communication skills, ensuring the ability to interact with external stakeholders, management and all team members in a professional and respectful manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary office administration diploma; a combination of education and experience may be considered. Working knowledge of Edmonton Zone, Continuing Care programs. Knowledge of AHS Visual Standards. Experience with SharePoint and Visio. Expertise managing electronic filing systems and shared drives, records management and records retention schedules.
