Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent required, supplemented by post-secondary secretarial or business courses. 3-5 years medical office experience required, with experience in a hospital or university setting strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required, with a keyboarding speed of 70 WPM. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience within AHS and the University of Calgary financial environment strongly preferred with demonstrated skill and comfort using EFIN, Peoplesoft, and other financial reporting. Previous experience in medical education preferred with demonstrated ability to coordinate educational events and learners.
