Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is required. High degree of customer service, both in-person and by phone/email, problem solving, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are required. Must have superior active listening and interpretative skills. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction and within a team environment. Must have demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Must have superior ability to organize and prioritize. Must be flexible and able to meet the demands of changing deadlines. Must be able to purposefully work with colleagues, partners and clients to achieve shared goals. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment references.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-3 years staff scheduling experience in health care preferred. Proficiency with ESP for scheduling preferred. Working knowledge of the various applicable collective agreements and time reporting codes preferred. Timekeeping/payroll experience is preferred. Experience in working in a unionized health care and/or 24/7 environment is preferred.
