Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two years recent experience working in an office environment is required. Previous staffing/scheduling clerk experience is required. Minimum one year recent experience (within 3 years) working in a customer service role is required. Excellent written / oral communication skills are required. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills are required. Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Access and Word] are required. Must be physically able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive motions on a keyboard for long periods of time. Knowledge of TeleStaff and SharePoint is preferred. Experience within Public Health is an asset. Solid understanding of Collective Agreements (UNA/AUPE) is preferred. Must be self motivated and able to set priorities, balance workload and meet deadlines. Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and independence in a team environment. Ability to adapt in a busy and fast paced environment. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
