Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a formal office administration/secretarial training program required or commensurate experience is required. Advanced knowledge of personal computer/desktop systems and software required. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in secretarial positions is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills required. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy. Knowledge of computer technology and applications in current use, especially MS office. Requires professional and political tact in providing assistance to both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent Formatting, grammar and proof reading skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting desired.
