Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum 5 years of experience within a medical/hospital setting is required. Experience & working knowledge as a Surgical Suite Unit Clerk highly advantageous. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Demonstrable EXCEL skills. Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Experience as an e-People timekeeper. An ability to work independently & efficiently with minimal direction is essential. The ability to recognize & prioritize tasks with minimal notice.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with previous Staffing Clerk experience. Strong knowledge of e-People payroll and Excel spreadsheets is an asset. Knowledge of AUPE, UNA and HSAA collective agreements is an asset.
