Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk course required. 2-3 years recent medical admin experience in an ambulatory clinic or acute care setting with an interdisciplinary team required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of basic document management and excellent organizational and time management skills required. Excellent written and spoken English skills required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience taking meeting minutes preferred. Scheduling experience preferred. Ability to work with frequent interruptions. Proficiency working with Eclinibase Scheduler, Concerto/Soprano Disease Management System, Connect Care, RedCap preferred. Keyboarding 50 to 55 wpm with accuracy. Medical terminology.
