Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary secretarial/administrative support certificate from an accredited business school/office. Two years relevant secretarial/administrative experience required. Advanced proficiencies with various computer applications including e-People, Time Entry, RMS, Microsoft Office, Meditech, E-Clinician, Sharepoint, E-Facilities, data entry, e-mail, Outlook and internet access are required.This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair as work-related travel is required. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information is required. The ability to work independently and prioritize workload is necessary. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written as well as task analysis, problem solving, formatting, grammar, syntax and proof reading skills. Ability to work and adapt within short timelines, deal with numerous interruptions and work independently as part of a larger multidisciplinary team, in a busy multi-tasking environment. Strong organizational, planning and time management skills are required. Strong independent problem solving skills and attention to detail required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Conflict Resolution training and experience is considered and asset. Experience in multiple public health programs and experience in rural settings are considered assets.
