Your Opportunity:

The Facility Living / Supportive Living Program areas, within the Edmonton Zone-Continuing Care portfolio, has immediate opening for an Administrative Support IV staff member. Working with a diverse team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, you will use your advanced administrative skills and knowledge to support writing complex procedures, drafting processes and coordinating initiatives. Duties include but are not limited to the following: prepares, formats and distributes confidential information and documents for a wide range of meetings, education sessions and projects as related to the team's areas of accountability. Assists in coordinating and production of complex reports and analytics. Using data, develops graphs, charts and presentations. Demonstrates respect for self and others in all interactions. Provides Outlook calendar management and supports specialized clinical programs. Supports a variety of standard office procedures to ensure day to day workflow remains continuous. Ensures appropriate supplies and equipment are available for teams.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

A high level of proficiency is required in the MS Office Suite, particularly Word & Excel (to be demonstrated through a skills test). Computer keyboarding experience with a proven typing speed - minimum, 50 wpm (to be demonstrated through a skills test). Workload varies however, a significant amount depends on excellent skills in writing, formatting and proof-reading documents (grammar, syntax, and spelling). Excellent verbal communication, problem solving, anticipation of needs and critical thinking skills are required. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are required. The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Sitting for extended periods. Using a computer/keyboarding for extended periods. Lifting office/medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Using repetitive motions. Lifting, bending, reaching and standing for prolonged periods.
