Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced computer skills with proficiency in a range of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access including the ability to prepare spreadsheets, organizational charts, flowcharts, and formatting techniques in the preparation of reports and/or presentations. Significant personal initiative is required, sensitive to complex and/or confidential issues. Must be able to work under pressure to manage competing and changing priorities and to meet deadlines with multiple interruptions. Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision making skills are necessary to anticipate, identify and independently recommend appropriate actions to complex administrative problems. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential in managing confrontational, confidential and problem solving situations. Strong judgement skills to know when to escalate issues. Organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize work independently with multiple and sometimes conflicting demands. Must be flexible in order to accommodate changing workload demands and able to work under the pressure of changing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in Medical Affairs an asset. Organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize work independently with multiple and sometimes conflicting demands. Must be able to exercise professionalism, judgement, tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues.
