Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience in multi-patient care computer systems (e.g. Netcare, Accessdata base). Minimum typing speed of 40-50 wpm. Knowledge and experience working with both diverse and vulnerable populations. Working with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary education applicable to the position (e.g. social work, psychology, sociology). Mental health, addictions, emergency and/or harm reduction experience. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Mental Health First Aid preferred. Knowledge of problems encountered by Indigenous people in using health care services, and of health care systems providing care to Indigenous people. Knowledge of an Indigenous language will be considered an asset.
