Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology, Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk Specialty and/or Post-secondary education applicable to the position – tested. Demonstrated Customer Service. Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year experience within the last two (2) years in a health care medical office setting or in the Admitting/Registration Department. Experience in the following multi-patient care computer systems : Clinibase, eClinibase Scheduler, Netcare, Person Directory, EMPI. Lead Clerk experience in Admitting/Registration. Customer Service experience. Experience in an office setting. Critical thinking and ability to demonstrate flexibility.
