Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support III position is responsible for carrying out clerical and administrative tasks to support the High Prairie Community Health and Wellness Clinic. Your main duties may involve scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, completing patient registrations, processing referrals, and validating and inputting data in the EMR. Additionally, you may assist the healthcare provider with preparing consultation rooms, taking vital signs and rooming patients, generating reports, and various documents and correspondence, as well as helping with a variety of general clerical activities to support operations. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024. Alberta Health Services (AHS) offers a Remote Retention Allowance of up to a maximum of $3,000 per year, in addition to a competitive rate of pay. Preferred Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant course preferred. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Experience working with Connect Care. Experience working in an administrative support position is an asset.
