Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Training in position-related software: Connect Care, eCLINICIAN, RightFax Telehealth. Understanding of how FOIP and the Health Information Act apply to this role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to think critically with demonstrated ability in problem-solving complex issues. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret client needs, identify discrepancies, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard requests. Ability to employ self-sufficiency to work in areas of ambiguity and seek assistance as required. Intermediate experience working with electronic medical records with a proven ability to manage patient records with confidentiality and accuracy. Able to work collaboratively under moderate supervision in a fast-paced environment with shared work pools and high rates of change. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proof of Medical Terminology certificate/course and experience in call center environment.
