Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant or Secretarial training required. Minimum (2) years administrative experience in a medical office or clinical setting is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Medical Terminology certificate/course is an asset. Intermediate experience working with electronic medical records; clinical scheduling experience is an asset. Proven ability to manage patient records with confidentiality, accuracy, and in a timely manner. Able to work collaboratively under moderate supervision in a fast-paced environment with shared work pools and high rates of change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
