Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant or equivalent program. 1 year experience providing administrative support in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting within the last 3 years. Experience with booking appointments, understanding of clinic work flow/processes, and triaging of calls. Ability to work in a busy, high stressed environment with frequent interruptions and able to prioritize tasks appropriately. High accuracy in data entry skills. High computer literacy and able to trouble shoot common office equipment issues. Experience using electronic medical records; specifically WOLF. Excellent reception and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, social determinants of health with a strong working knowledge of client experienced barriers to health access.
