Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must possess proven customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills. The ability to collaborate and cooperate with others in a team setting is required. Must have strong communication skills. Must be able to manage time appropriately and prioritize multiple tasks. Proficiency in various computer applications including word processing, data entry, email, internet access and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years of recent administrative support experience in an ambulatory/community based setting is preferred. Successful completion of a post-secondary secretarial or administrative support certificate from an approved business school/college is preferred. Previous experience with eClinician and/or Meditech is an asset. Understanding/knowledge of Allied Health Community services as well as the social determinants of health is preferred.
