Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to clearly, speak, read , write and understand English . Ability to type on a standard computer keyboard and operate a compute mouse . Minimum standard for typing is 35 words per minute. Basic file management , document and email skills . Must be organized with attention to detail . Well- developed verbal and written communication skills, professionalism and customer services are essential in dealing with Patients, Food Services Colleagues, other departments and the public . Demonstration of critical thinking skills and confidence in decision making are important in ensuring patient safety . Proficient basic mathematical skills to support accurate tallies and calculations. Manages incoming and outgoing mail , Files documents , Assists with training and orientation of new staff .Maybe assigned to other duties : like staff replacement in Workforce ESP, preparing supplies and assisting in other aspects of the operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference given to those with post secondary Administrative Assistant , Clerical Education or education in a related field , Preference given to those with Knowledge of Medical and Dietetic terminology . Previous food services experience in a Healthcare enrolment . Computer and clerical experience in an office environment
