Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required. Accurate typing speed of 40 wpm required and testing done prior to interview. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Minimum six (6) months recent customer service/public relations or receptionist experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in the English language, both written and oral required. Must have excellent communication skills as there is a high degree of interaction with patients and a variety of disciplines at all levels of the organization. Must have demonstrated communication and interpersonal style that support a service oriented approach through attentive, pleasant, cooperative, sensitive and respectful interactions with patients, visitors, public and employees via, in person, telephone or written interactions. Ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment, including working under pressure, adapting and responding to changing priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to work all shifts as operationally required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an Information Desk role is preferred. Recent experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
