Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to learn new computer programs easily and typing skills. High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry. Experience dealing with confidential information, numerical filing systems and multi-line phone systems. Customer Service experience with excellent telephone manners, strong communication skills, and a good command of the English language. Two or more years of office experience, preferably in a medical and/or healthcare setting. Must work well independently as well as in a team (both on-site and remote teams), with strong interpersonal skills. A comfort level interacting with the general public and being a liaison with security regarding any concerns. This position may require the ability to lift 20 lbs and includes long periods of standing as well repetitive movement tasks such as typing, filing of heavy charts (including bending and reaching) and document preparation work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary education preferred (medical office administration/assistant, business administration, medical terminology or other related training).
