Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent; post secondary education or equivalent Administrative Assistant courses.Two years of progressively responsible secretarial experience and previous experience in applicable health care setting preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Considerable working knowledge of AHS systems and processes. Considerable working knowledge of legislation, policies and processes. Considerable working knowledge of general office policies and processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to summarize, draft and analyze information. Ability to promote a positive attitude and team work. Organizational skills and ability to work independently. Ability to priortize workload. Demonstrates initiative and judgement. Understands importance of and practices confidentiality.
