Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (ie. certificate or diploma in office, business or human resources) is required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills with cellular devices (IPhone & Android). Experience with administrative policies, procedures and standards pertaining to staffing, recruitment classification, employee and labour relations is preferred. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, demonstrated time management, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Must be able to exercise judgement, tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Approachable and willing to assist, combined with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Professionalism and the ability to respond to changing priorities in a busy, detail orientated work environment are essential. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective in email communications and correspondence.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a human resources role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred (healthcare and/or union environment experience an asset). Other preferred skills include proficiency with e-People, SharePoint, Mark View, and iExpense. Experience in analytic data reporting.
