Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English. CPR certification from The Heart and Stroke Foundation, required prior to/upon commencement. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention {NVCI). First Aid Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:A Degree is preferred. Equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a co-occurring mental illness and/or behavioral concerns is an asset. Past experience working with a client directed outcome informed clinical framework is recommended.
