Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English. 2-4 years of community experience with targeted population is required. First Aid Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support is required prior to/upon commencement.

Preferred Qualifications:

A degree from a health or disability related field. Equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered. Training in non-violent crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a co-occurring mental illness and/or behavioral concerns. Past experience working with a client directed outcome informed clinical framework.
