Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline is required. Knowledge or previous experience with commercial furniture systems. Basic understanding of AutoCAD. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional development.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Experienced in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Has working knowledge of all aspects of the planning and design of health facilities. Must have independent judgement, be self-motivated, goal oriented, while working in team settings. Ability to work under pressure, manage tight schedules and achieve project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of three to five years in a design and/or accommodation planning role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred. Health care experience would be an asset. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
