Grade 12 Diploma minimum College certificate/diploma in related health care discipline, such as Community Health Representative, Social Work, or Nursing preferred (If part of a registered profession—registration in good standing with applicable governing body). Knowledge of the diversity of Indigenous cultural and political structures. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated ability and comfort with coaching and teaching individuals and groups. Effective oral and written communication skills. Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to solve routine and standard problems. Evidence of initiative, flexibility and strong commitment. Demonstrated punctuality, adaptability, and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to speak an Indigenous language is an asset.
