Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working with Epic Beaker TST environment. Proven leadership skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, promotes and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to work well in a team setting. Experience with training and knowledge transfer. Capacity to organize, delegate, track, and follow-up on multiple projects across short- and long-term time periods.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with ProvLab accreditation programs, including CAP, HPTA and CALA. Proficient with MS Excel, JIRA and SharePoint. Experience in a technical leadership role and Public Health Laboratory. Trained in process excellence and change management. Demonstrated positive working relationships within an interdisciplinary team and external stakeholders. Post secondary training in information technology-based programs is an asset.
