Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Anatomic Pathology experience in the last 2 years. Able to work with exposure to chemicals and gloves. Chemicals may include but not limited to formalin, xylene, bleach.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a clinical laboratory setting the last 5 years. Experience with embedding and microtomy. Experience grossing up to level IV. Experience with performing and assessing special stains. Basic LIS and Microsoft computer skills.
