Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Candidates require experience within the past 12 months working as a medical laboratory technologist in clinical chemistry, or student experience within the past 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the following instrumentation or testing is an asset: Siemens Atellica SCI and Aptio track system. Experience with the following instrumentation or testing is an asset: Roche Cobas 8000 or Roche Cobas e801. Experience with the following instrumentation or testing is an asset: Roche Cobas c513 (hemoglobin A1c testing).
