Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Laboratory Technologist (CSMLS) with current CMLTA registration or eligible for registration. Must have experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Microbiology within the last two (2) years or student practical training as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Microbiology within the last two (2) years. Proven interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. A strong team player with ability to perform duties independently and with others. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates good computer skills. Experience with Epic Beaker is an asset. Possesses excellent time management skills. Exhibits professionalism and accountability.
