Relevant undergraduate degree in a related field (healthcare profession, business, etc.) and/or Registered Medical Technologist designation with registration with the CSMLS. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years healthcare leadership experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of progressive professional and personal development. Experience and knowledge of working in a clinical laboratory setting. Experience and knowledge of Acute Care and Community/Regional laboratory settings. Understanding of Payroll, e-People processing and Recruitment Management System. Epic Beaker Experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Proven leadership skills in team building, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Acute Care and Community/Regional laboratory settings. Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Anatomical Pathology, and Microbiology in the past 5 years. Experience in recruitment, conflict resolution and teambuilding. Recent continuing education demonstrating interest in a leadership position.
